Preventing Child Labour

Under no circumstances should any child be subjected to hard labour. Yet, the socio-economic reality of Bangladesh compels a large number of children to abandon the premise of schools and employ themselves in hard labour. While this leaves a life-long scar in their lives, a dangerous working environment positions them in harm’s way. Their prospect of a bright future gets nipped in the bud in the gloomy and damp workshops and factories they are forced to work in. At Riaz Foundation, we vow to change this reality because it is absolutely unacceptable to us and we believe to build an egalitarian society, nourishing the children should be of utmost priority. We highly appreciate the organizations working to abolish child labour and hope through our concerted efforts we will be able to build a better and safer society for our children.
